ReChoice (officially, Renewable Energy Choice) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organized to promote consumer choice is renewable energy resources. They believe that if consumers have easy, affordable choices available as to energy sources, they will overwhelmingly choose to use renewable resources.
ReChoice functions as an education and advocacy group for renewable energy generally, with most of their emphasis presently on solar. They also serve as a charitable organization, in their funding of new solar installations provided free to other non-profits. Such installations function as “energy endowments” for those organizations, since they get free solar power for the life of their new solar installation, which frees up funding that would otherwise be dedicated to paying a power bill.
